Marlayna Gail Delco, born on January17, 1990, in the vibrant city of Houston, Texas, departed this world on November 7, 2024, leaving behind a legacy woven from the beautiful threads of her short but impactful life.

From her earliest days, Marlayna embodied an unyielding spirit, radiating warmth and kindness to all she encountered. Her infectious laughter and genuine smile illuminated rooms and lifted spirits, casting away shadows of doubt and despair. Marlayna was a dreamer, a thinker, and a soul so full of compassion that she left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

Her life's journey, though brief, was filled with moments of joy and connection. In Houston, she formed bonds that transcended the casual; her friendships were profound, rich with shared secrets, late-night conversations, and unwavering support. It was through these connections that Marlayna truly shone, nurturing those around her with a caring and nurturing hand.

Marlayna will be remembered as a beacon of love, her spirit unconfined by the brevity of her years. The love she gave will echo in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and remember her essence during the following services. A viewing will be held on November 22, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Boudreaux Family Mortuary, located at 7603 Helmers St., Houston, TX 77022. The following day, another viewing will take place at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley, LA, starting at 9 AM until 11 AM, culminating in a Mass at 11 AM on November 23, 2024.
