Raised in the vibrant city of Houston, Lonnie was known for his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering kindness. Throughout his life, he made friendships that transcended generations, touching the hearts of all who crossed his path. Lonnie's life was marked by his strong sense of community and service. He was a devoted member of the Greater True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, where he was actively involved, sharing his time and talents with anyone in need. His generosity knew no bounds, and he believed in the power of unity and love within the community.

In honoring Lonnie’s memory, family, friends, and community members are invited to gather for a Viewing on November 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the Greater True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, located at 7110 Parkes St, Houston, TX. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the same venue, commencing at 11:00 AM and concluding at noon. This gathering will be an opportunity for all to share fond memories, express their love, and celebrate the remarkable life of Lonnie Harrison Jr.

Lonnie will be laid to rest during a Graveside Service on November 26, 2024, at the Houston National Cemetery, where family and friends are invited to pay their final respects at 10:15 AM.
