Bettye A. Thomas-Whorton

Bettye A. Thomas-Whorton, born on December 25, 1953, in Dallas, Texas, peacefully passed away on May 25, 2024, in Houston, Texas. She was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.

A visitation will be held in her honor on June 1, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM at Nehemiah Community Church located at 3601 Blodgett St, Houston, TX 77004. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service at the same venue beginning at 11:00 AM to commemorate her remarkable journey.

Bettye will always be remembered for her kindness, grace, and unwavering determination. She had a profound impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

While Bettye has left this world, she is survived by cherished memories shared with family and friends who were blessed to have her in their lives.
